Echo Wealth Management was formed in February 2015 as a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) and is looking for an Associate Wealth Manager to join a growing firm and support the founder of this firm who has over 20 years of experience. As a new firm, this position will be very involved in the long-term success of the firm, learning all aspects of the wealth management business with a focus on client service, financial planning, and business operations. This position offers tremendous future growth and opportunity. The Associate Wealth Manager position does not have business development requirements.

The Associate Wealth Manager selected for this position will be highly dependable and trustworthy, have a high level of organizational skills, attention to detail and accuracy, self-motivation, intellectual curiosity, excellent written and verbal communications skills, the ability to handle multiple responsibilities, and consistently follow high standards of business/professional ethics with a desire to grow within the practice. This position requires excellent interpersonal skills, along with a service attitude in order to provide high-touch, professional service within our client-centric culture.
Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To:

Data entry and analysis for Client Relationship Management (Salesforce CRM), financial planning and investment management software

Work to establish efficient procedures to on-board new clients and work with existing clients

Create and maintain Echo Dashboard, the customized client homepage for each client

Involvement in all aspects of client meetings including preparation for meetings, meeting notes, and post-client meeting tasks

Responsible for preparation of paperwork for new accounts

Create financial planning presentations
-
Create investment portfolio presentations; work on Investment Policy Statements

Learn to use the portfolio management system for clients’ investment accounts; design various performance reports; assign models to accounts to properly monitor them for rebalancing

Prepare reports, letters, and other correspondence as necessary

General operational support
-
Manage the paperless office system (i.e. scanning, shredding and appropriate handling)

Work with Lead Advisor on all aspects of business including communication strategies along with touch points for clients (blog topics, quarterly communication, social media updates)
Personal Requirements & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (Financial Planning, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field)

Two years of industry experience preferred

Passed the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) exam or currently in the program

Desire to pursue further knowledge and designations in financial planning

Driven to succeed in a collaborative atmosphere

Able to quickly learn new software
